A Bit About Me
JULIE FARR
Hi, I'm Julie Farr, founder of Emerge Events Design! Whether you want to celebrate a special occasion, promote your business, or network, I’m here to make it happen for you. My company helps you plan, design, and realise your event to suit your style and budget. I'm always here for 1-on-1 support and I adapt to changes quickly to make sure your event is exactly how you imagined it.
I have over 30 years of experience as a business owner, with primary focus on owning a successful beauty salon and bridal shop. My entrepreneurial spirit has also led me to explore ventures in other industries, including hospitality and retail.
In 2018, I decided to pursue my passion for learning and teaching, and I enrolled in a degree in events management at the University of Gloucestershire. I graduated with honours and I became University Lecturer in the same field. I enjoy sharing my practical insights and real-life experiences with my students, and I also learn a lot from them.
As an event planner, I have a unique blend of skills and knowledge that I apply to every project I work on. I believe that facilitating connections and networking opportunities is at the core of event planning, and I strive to create a platform for my clients to showcase their products or services and reach their target audience. I have planned and realised over 50 events of all types and sizes, from intimate weddings to Christmas markets and business functions, and I have received many amazing reviews from my clients and guests.
When I'm not planning events or teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I'm a mum of two creative and entrepreneurial kids, who share my love for art and design. I also like to keep fit with zumba, and have fun with cooking, decorating, and painting. My husband jokes that he never knows what colour the walls will be when he comes home, as I'm always experimenting with new colours!
